Upcoming 2022-2023 school year

publier : 2 sept 2022
Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope you enjoyed some quality time with family and friends over the summer. The entire Csc Providence staff is looking forward to the upcoming 2022-2023 school year and is ready to welcome your child!

As you may know, I am following in the footsteps of Joseph Picard, Director of Education at Csc Providence this year. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize Mr. Picard’s tireless dedication to the needs, sustainability, and success of Csc Providence. His contribution is considerable! He leaves behind a large and close-knit family, a highly committed staff, a healthy work environment and a solid foundation for Csc Providence to continue its path of excellence. On behalf of all the students, parents, staff, and community partners, I would like to thank him and wish him a well-deserved retirement!

The start of the school year is quickly approaching! It is with great enthusiasm and anticipation that the staff of the schools and services of the Conseil scolaire catholique Providence will be welcoming all students on September 6th.

We begin this brand-new school year with hope and success. According to recent data published by the Ontario government on graduation rates, Csc Providence ranks 1st among all French and English school boards in Ontario, with a 97.9% graduation rate!

These excellent results show the commitment of all staff to do everything possible, from elementary and secondary schools to administrative and instructional support services, to ensure that students’ needs are met. The support of parents is also an essential ingredient in the success of the students and in the nourishment of our partnership. This type of achievement comes from a strong commitment to our strategic planning, effective teamwork, and the dedication of every member of our team to the success of every student. We should be proud of our accomplishments!

As the new school year begins, we are more committed than ever to providing all our students with the highest quality education and an engaging, caring, inclusive, equitable and safe learning environment.

I would like to thank you for your confidence in choosing a French-language Catholic school for your child. I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome back the students whom I look forward to meeting during my tour of each school this fall.

I wish you all a happy back to school!

Sincerely yours,

Eugénie Congi
Director of Education
