In the context of a pandemic, it is common to experience stress and anxiety. However, these factors may be of concern to parents because they hinder academic success and well-being in a child's learning. This information session will focus in particular on the components, causes, symptoms and consequences of stress along with effective methods for coping with stress in ourselves and our children, and various resources available to help manage stress.
At the end of this session, participants will be in a position to understand the part that stress plays in our lives. They will also be able to recognize problematic signs of stress in children, know how to use helpful strategies to support their child and know how to find help if necessary.
The webinar will be moderated by Csc Providence’s Clinical Services, including Social Services and Psychology.
